WARRANTY AND REPAIRS

LEGAL GUARANTEE

All jewelry from Arista Joyas has a legal guarantee for a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of the product, in accordance with the provisions of the consumer law.

The warranty covers exclusively manufacturing defects or material flaws that prevent the jewelry from being used for its intended purpose. All claims will be evaluated by the Arista Joyas workshop to determine warranty eligibility.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our pieces, slight variations or details inherent to manual work may exist, which will not be considered manufacturing defects.

If a piece of jewelry repaired under warranty presents the same fault again within 90 days of the repair, the customer may choose between a replacement of the product or a refund, subject to a technical evaluation by the workshop.


CASES EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY

The warranty will not cover damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, or situations unrelated to manufacturing defects. These include:

  • Rings or deformed pieces.
  • Cracked, broken or detached stones resulting from blows, falls or pressure.
  • Chains cut by pulling or external force.
  • Scratches, marks or natural wear from everyday use.
  • Bent or crushed pieces.
  • Natural darkening of silver due to contact with air, humidity, skin pH or external agents.
  • Damage caused by contact with chemicals, perfumes, chlorine or other corrosive products.
  • Interventions, modifications or repairs carried out by third parties unrelated to Arista Joyas.

All evaluations will be carried out by the workshop considering the characteristics of the product and the type of damage presented.

In the case of natural stones, the warranty will only cover defects related to manufacturing or setting problems. Damaged, scratched, broken, or detached stones resulting from use, impact, or improper handling will not be covered under warranty.


GUARANTEE FOR ENGAGEMENT RINGS AND WEDDING BANDS

Engagement rings and wedding bands include one free annual maintenance service (from the date of delivery) which includes polishing and cleaning the jewelry, checking the settings, and removing surface scratches. To maintain this service, it is required to have it performed annually at Arista Joyas; otherwise, the free maintenance will be automatically canceled.

A free size adjustment is included within the first 3 months, subject to design feasibility which will always be communicated beforehand.

Structural repairs resulting from misuse, impacts, deformations, or damage attributable to the customer are not included.


LIFETIME GUARANTEE ON ENGAGEMENT RINGS

In those engagement rings that include a lifetime warranty, this will cover exclusively manufacturing defects.

To maintain this warranty, annual maintenance by Arista Joyas is required (starting from the date of delivery). Failure to perform regular maintenance or checkups will automatically void the lifetime warranty.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Natural wear and tear from use.
  • Damage from blows or mistreatment.
  • Loss of stones resulting from wear or deformation of the pegs.
  • Interventions carried out by third parties.
  • Unauthorized external repairs.

Repairs, replacement of stones or other services outside of coverage may be carried out at an additional cost to the customer.

Any repair or modification carried out outside of the Arista Joyas workshop voids all legal guarantees.


REPAIRS AND MODIFICATIONS

With proper care, jewelry can be kept in excellent condition for many years. Nevertheless, Arista Joyas offers repair, maintenance, cleaning, and alteration services for its pieces, subject to prior technical evaluation.

In case of damage caused by impacts, drops, misuse, or wear and tear, repairs may be carried out at an associated cost. Depending on the damage, some repairs may require partial or complete reconstruction of the item.

If a piece of jewelry has been altered, modified, or repaired by third parties, all warranties will be automatically voided.

To request repairs, adjustments or modifications, the customer must contact hola@arista.cl directly.

Size adjustments have a base price starting at $15,000 CLP, which may vary depending on the design, material, and number of sizes to be adjusted. Estimated times for adjustments and repairs will be provided in each case and may extend up to 30 days from the date the jewelry is received.

In all cases, the customer can schedule an in-person visit to the workshop to drop off or pick up the parts. If shipping is required, the customer will be responsible for the transportation costs.
